Our Story

A project between sky and flavors

Once a time, there was a family that believed in hospitality as an act of love, in the small gestures that warm the heart, and in the magic of traditions. Then, as often happens in beautiful stories, a special encounter took place. Franco, with his passion for horses and the charm of the Chalet in Barmasc, entered the life of Le Coeur du Pont.

That meeting was a spark. Amidst the chatter over a glass of vin brulè and the crunch of snow beneath their boots, a shared dream was born: Altitude. At 2000 meters, where the sky meets the peaks and silence is colored with wonder, Altitude becomes a new home for the authentic flavors of the Aosta Valley, wrapped in charm.

This project is further enriched by Riccardo Zanassi, a young chef who brings with him the freshness of creativity and a deep respect for tradition. Riccardo embraces the philosophy of the Le Coeur du Pont family: to enhance local raw materials, celebrate genuine simplicity, and add that innovative touch that makes every dish a unique experience.

Altitude is not just a venue. It is a refuge where cuisine tells stories, dishes become memories, and hospitality is the key to opening the hearts of all who enter. Because, as Maria Lorena teaches, there is no hospitality without love.
